Disorderly Pies was born from a love of great tasting, fuss-free food and a keen liking of a tasty tipple (or two). With high quality, high welfare meat, all sourced locally via famous butchers, the freshest veg and herbs and always a premium smattering of booze, the startup launched intending to turn everything you know about conventional pies on its head.
The brief was to create a brand from scratch that had a distinct personality to robustly enter the market - we developed the strapline 'Badly behaved but brilliantly made'. While also communicating a strong ethically sourced message, and proudly community-driven values. Using brash, tongue in cheek humour, we developed a strong voice to compliment the strong visual aesthetic of the brand, to come up with something original, authentic and immediately recognisable compared to the competition. Community feedback has been so positive, bringing a real sense of achievement for a brand new local business heading for the big time!
